Another Great Day at Hogar

Hi, this is Noah again. Today was another day at Hogar. On our way to Hogar, an incredible thing happened. We were walking from the bus stop to Hogar (as you know, in a bad part of town), when we heard someone yelling. We all ignored it at first because we hoped the person wasn't yelling at us. As it continued, my dad eventually turned around to see what was going on. It turned out to be Willie from Casa. He saw us walk by and wanted to talk with us. He asked us if we could come to his church (which is located right next door to Casa) to pray for the people there. He said that there are lots of people that need prayer. He told his pastor about us and the pastor asked if we could come to pray. We are not sure what this is going to look like, so we really need your prayers. He asked us to come at 11:30 on Sunday (which is 9:30 mountain time). Please pray for our time there and that God will move in powerful ways.

As soon as we got to Hogar, some of the girls came out to say hi. But it appeared they were having a later morning since they then had to go back in to have their breakfast. So we were on our own for some time, but we had the puppies to entertain us. At about noon, the girls came back out to play with us. We had lots of fun playing with the soccer ball and on the playground equipment. Here are some pictures of the puppies and the playground.

After awhile, the girls started getting prepared for lunch. So we went home. When we got home, we checked the internet to see who won the women's World Cup semi-final game. We were pleased to see that U.S. won and will be in the their first final game since 1999. We look forward to the final on Sunday, which is actually the same day of the Chile quarter final game. So we are going to have a busy day this Sunday, with going to Willie's church in the morning, and two soccer games in the afternoon. It should be a great day!

Thank you for your prayers for Dylan. He had a much better day today! Please remember to pray for Kristin since she will be flying back from Uruguay tomorrow. Thank you for all of your support!
